Research Felllow Open Position in the Metabolism in Neurodegeneration Research Laboratory (Group Head Michelangelo Campanella)

The recently opened Research Unit is looking to recruit a full time Postdoctoral Research Fellow

This position is suitable for recently PhD qualified candidates with documented experience in molecular cell biology, cell signalling and cutting edge techniques of imaging. The awarded candidate will work on the characterization of the mitochondrial and cytosolic enzymatic pathways in the onset and unfolding of neurodegenerative diseases. The work will lead to the identification of fundamental regulatory mechanisms and novel targets for pharmacological intervention.

Applications are warmly welcome from energetic and motivated individuals ready to join a starting up group of research and willing to make a contribution in the field. The position is immediately available and runs for a period of 36 months.  Salary will be adequate to experience.
